18 players made it to the live game tonight. Everyone made it to the first break and nearly everyone made it to the second.
Play was really based on the luck of the draw. One table had 7 re-buys at the break and the other only had 2. Very active play for one table. More reasonable for the other.
Kathy Cr went out early ending her bid for the season championship. Jerry busted out in 11th. Even though he had a slight lead, he had to wait and see what Jon and Peter did.
Jon went out soon after ensuring he got a 3rd place finish overall. Peter needed a 4th or better to take over first place and win the championship.
When Zahit went out in 5th place, Peter locked in the championship. Peter went out in 4th, leaving John, James, and Yigit to battle for the tournament. James and Yigit had big stacks (Yigit's was larger) so it wasn't much of a surprise when John busted out in 3rd.
Yigit's lead was just too large and he drained the chips from Jame's stack until James had to accept 2nd place. Yigit took the win. He led pretty much the whole way.

The top 3 will represent to WSOP group at a circuit event next year! Congratulations to all and I'm already looking forward to next year!

We will be giving out awards at the January 10th game, so please arrive on time. Here are the dates I have planned for next year:
1/10, 2/7, 3/7, 4/4, 5/2, 6/6, 7/11, 8/1, 9/12, 10/3, 11/7, 12/5 - these may change, but this is the plan.
